Hello, Friday Fools!
The big news of the week is that the print edition of The Reluctant Bandit is coming! 📚📚📚 You can purchase a copy through the shop link on my website. Be sure to mark in the notes for your special inscription 🖋 If you don't have PayPal, and would like to purchase a copy, please contact me--any time you have a question or a comment, give me a holler.
I'm scheduled to receive the books Monday afternoon and could be shipping them out to you lovely readers the very next day. 🥳 I'm going to include some purple love (a bandana for all the selfies you'll want to take with my book 😆) as well as some emoji love (stickers! who doesn't love stickers?).
I've mentioned this before, but it would be awesome for you to post selfies with my book and use the hashtags #purpleclan and #purpleclanriders, tagging me and/or sending me your pic! I would geek out over that. 🤠🤓🐴
I had some difficulties figuring out the inexpensive shipping on the USPS website (it doesn't exist) and ended up taking a little tour. I wasn't finding what I was looking for, but found these cute stamps and ran across a checkbox for mailing live animals. I thought it wasn't a thing anymore, but apparently it still is. There's also a special checkbox for shipping "remains" which made me think about my boots driving around town and what would my cremated remains "feel" like riding around with the mail carrier? Better question--would the mail carrier know what they were? 😬 There's a brief pondering on mail, live animals, and "harmless live animals" on my curiosities/blog. It's not as morbid as that last thought, I promise. I also included a link to History.com for the history buffs and curious out there, describing the short period of time where children were mailed. Although I did briefly ponder what our mail carrier would do if I stamped myself up and mailed me...the thought quickly dissipated because that requires weighing myself. That's something I'm not behind. |
